your body is a wonderland

a friend and I were discussing.

why it would have been so easy if we had just taken commerce for our 10+2. because then...

1.we would have not had to study our asses off in school
2.or college
3.or later
4.by the age that we get our degrees in medicine, we would have been earning.
5.a shit load of money
6.which would be greater than a doctor's peak anyday.
7.all the 'cool' and non nerdy and hot girls are there.
8.we would have gotten laid.
9.we would have smoked pot by 17.
10.we would have gotten laid. multiple times.
11.we would be wearing low waist jeans and the same color of jockeys(we would own just one) everyday
12.we would have gotten laid.mutliple times.by multiple people.
13.medical students would be cursing our luck on how we manage to earn, have a girlfriend and enjoy life while they dont even have a degree.
14.we would have pubic hairstyles on top of our heads.
15.we wouldnt have been able to crib about anything and everything.
16.we would be in a drunken stupor right now.
17.and on muchloadsofweed.
18.we woulnt be cribbing about singleton.we would have said that it rocks.
19.and none of us would have a blog, unless it was ordered to us by our girlfriends.
20.oh!we would have girlfriends!
21.hot ones.

this guy took the right decision in 10+2

this guy took biology, it seems.

but you know. I still wouldnt trade my places with a commerce guy right now. thats because....
we may crib, but we have our pride(something only med students may understand)
huge self respect.
loads of money, someday, hopefully.
a future plan.
work enjoyment(not applicable to students)
emphysema and cirrhosis on a later stage of life.
straight hair.
mutiple pairs of underwear.

unless of course I get a hot girl in the exchange
then, toh..........

*this was a work of fiction and of multiple drunk medical students.
*not resembling anyone in reality and not made to make fun of others.
*unless you really DO have one pair of underwear and pubic hairstyles.
*dude. thats sick.
*eww.

  1. That commerce guy's going to get AIDS soon.
And you're gonna be the one who cures him.
[AND, while you're treating him, his super hot girlfriend will need a shoulder to cry on. and trust me, ANYONE'll do]
Sounds pretty awesome to me ;D

  2. "emphysema and cirrhosis on a later stage of life."

    Greater shelf life eh.

And we also know atleast a few hundred words now one else does (courtesy: Harrison and Davidson and Robins and Parson and Grey and Guyton...) (different issue that we rarely use them correctly)

Three cheers to medicos. ~hic hic hurray~

a.there are exceptions to every rule
b.umm. no. I hope to pass before that happens
c.umm. others only get a Dr. in front of their name after PhD...does that rule not apply to you?
d.umm. the actual middle route would be doing dentistry.

  7. @messy

    haha. youre right.

but then, we figured that if we were maths students, we would think of only one MIT, the one that does not contain the word manipal :)

  11. i would trade any thing for a medical profession
i always consider Doctors to be the God on earth.
we go to them with so much hope and faith that they will cure all our physical problems. Dont we all go to temples with the same hopes?

  12. I think this is the only post from a no-more-a-student-thank-GOD!, been happy-to-forget-all-that-I-studied-to-the-big-bad-world-out-there-in-a-field-that-has-absolutely-no-connection-to-what-I-studied, till now.

Okay You can kill me. All those dashes. Sigh.

Urrrmmmm....sorry to sound like a prick, which I will, BUT, study life (is NOT =) to Work life. No matter which field. All of it comes with its own challenges you have not the remotest idea of when planning your life.

And err....life doesn't usually go according to your plan.

But, ummm....its a lot of fun, nevertheless. Lots of learning.

There, I knew before hand I was never meant to be a student pschycologist. Er..make that pschycologist.

    :)

Here's good luck to all of you hopefuls though! :)

  14. Havent I pondered this long and hard (did I just say long and hard? oh well, thats what these posts do to me)myself?

But still, you've gotta admit, medical college does have its perks..

altho' ugly geeks abound, there is still the possibility that one day, one of them will be a brain surgeon with a BMW...and if he never had a hot girlfriend, atleast he'll find a hot wife..

Now that's a revelation. This post. I always thought that all the nerdy guys from biology ended up in my college! Good to know its a global thing and we're not alone. *Does a happy dance*

PS: TLC does sometime stand for Tender Loving Care. (Reference: The miscarriage wala chapter in Textbook of Obstetrics by Dutta- Hemorrhage in early pregnancy, I think it was called!)

  17. Dude, there ARE medical students that have cool hairstyles, smoke shitloads of pot and go to class drunk everyday, supported by their suprisingly super hot girlfriends. It happens less often than in other courses but it happens. Ur probably missing out so look around CAREFULLY
